How long do helium balloons float?

Latex balloons usually float for 8–12 hours, foil balloons for several days. Heat, sun and sharp edges shorten their life, so keep them indoors and away from direct sunlight.

Can I fill balloons with air instead?

Yes. Foil number and letter balloons can be filled with air and hung or placed on a stand.

Safety

Never inhale helium. Keep uninflated or burst balloons away from children under 8.
